Jared found a cool place in Monterey for us to stay. The Laguna Seca Recreation Area is a Mazda Racetrack facility. They have three different campgrounds on the grounds and a decent size racetrack. They were having a Ferrari Challenge this weekend. We aren't really sure what that entails, but it definitely seemed like a cool place to camp for a race.
Since there was no race going on this weekend we were able to get a site easily. We set up the RV, made some dinner and hung out for the night.
Wednesday, May 18th
On our way out this morning we saw some big tractor trailers coming in. We assume they were carrying Ferraris, but we can't be sure. We continued on our way and headed out for our busy day.
