Sunday, April 17th

After we left Roswell we decided to drive 2.5 hours to Mountainair to spend the night. We found this campground in our Passport America book, so we got half off for the night and it is only like another hour or so to Albuquerque. It is a small campground with not much going on, but it is alright for a one night stop over. Of course shortly after we got in to our site Jared opened the door and the wind took it pushing the door open further than it is supposed to go. So the hydraulic piece on the door ripped out from the wall of the motorhome, the door swung open further cracking the back of the door on the metal leg for the awning. The door doesn't look to bad, but you have to be careful now when you open the door so that it isn't just swinging at will. Of course it is still super windy out.  So now our plans for tomorrow have changed some. Instead of going right to a campground in Albuquerque we are going to stop at a Camping World to see if Jared can get the parts to fix the hydraulic piece and what can be done about the door.

Anyway like I said we are heading to Albuquerque tomorrow. My parents and Shannon are flying in on Tuesday so we wanted to get set up at a campground tomorrow before they get here and clean up the RV some so their luggage will fit in with all of our stuff. I can't wait for them to get here!!!
