We headed out this morning from Port Allen, LA for Houston, TX. On the drive today we first tried to go to the Lafayette Museum of Science because we saw a billboard advertising the Star Wars attraction. When we stopped for gas we looked it up and the Star Wars exhibit was no longer going on, so we got back on the road for Houston. The next billboard that caught our interest was a sign for Candyland Cottage boasting the World's Largest Gummy Bear. So we got off and checked it out. It was a pretty cool little store with lots of different candy, ice cream, and fudge. It also had some great games through the years. It was definitely worth the stop and we got some candy.

After our stop we continued on to our campground. We decided to spend two nights here. It is a really nice place. Our site it a little bit weird I had to practically parallel park into our site. Luckily since we lived in Philly we both are pretty good parallel parkers. Most of the sites don't require the parallel parking but since we are a small RV they put us in one of their small sites. We were able to park fine though and like I said it is a really nice campground. We are going to head over to the pool now and then into Houston tomorrow to check it out.
