Jared and I mapped out a whole route that would keep us in the south for as long as possible before heading to Terra Alta, WV in a couple of weeks for a ski trip. After mapping out this plan we started to look for good Steelers bars to watch the Superbowl. After spending hours not finding any to our liking where we were going to be we decided to surprise our families and head back up north for my Uncle Mike and Aunt Sue's Superbowl party.

We threw away our old route and started a new one, which consisted of us driving a little over 8 hours today to spend the night in Sutton, WV at the Flatwoods KOA. It was a little bit creepy because we were the only people any where close to our site. It was a nice campground though with clean facilities, a cool amphitheater (that is probably pretty sweet in warmer weather), and a pool table (which we played and I won). We spent a rainy windy night and then got up early to head out for our next stop.

Since this was a surprise this is why I haven't blogged until now. I didn't want to give the surprise away.

PS - The day we drove to Sutton, WV (Feb 1st) is both my friend Parker and my brother Phil's birthday. So Happy Birthday to both of you again!!!
