We have finally landed in Asuncion. It is wonderful in the simplicity of everything. Customs is an 8 x 8 wooden box the resembles a ticket booth at the county fair. As we landed a stray dog was running along the runway, I was so worried about it. We traveled through the city to a little known side street to stay with the Bowen's. After introductions we played a game of football (aka soccer) with some of the local children. Our butts were handed to us, these children can play football in their sleep.
