Last Sunday, February 20, 2011 I went to SMX Convention Center Mall of Asia to attend the biggest event in the tourism industry. It's the TravelTour Expo 2011.
TravelTour Expo 2011 is where PTAA members showcase their products and services covering particularly all segments in the tourism industry.
There are local and international booths. For Local booths, there are different destinations all over the Philippines to show what they have. Beautiful attractions, food and culture. Hotels were also present to show visitors what their hotel offers.
Local airlines like PAL, Cebu Pacific, Seair and others to offer discounted airfares for those who want to book for a vacation to local or international destination. (Expect long lines and lots of patience!)
Local Travel agencies were also present to offer different packages to clients.
International booths were also amazing on how they create their booth. I would like to mention Macau, Africa, India, Malaysia and Thailand for the wonderful booth. It's like they brought their destination at the Philippines! Visitors enjoyed (including me) taken my pictures in their booth with such beautiful backdrops.
Some booths like Guam have a dance number showing the culture of Guam which really entertained me.
Photo booths were there for souvenir to remember.
I really enjoyed the TravelTour Expo 2011. And I'm looking forward for next year's event. :)
