Where I stayed
We then joined the tour and had a spectacular lunch at the private home of one of the cities prominant families. Two pisco sours and Peruvian wine made the lunch very enjoyable. The house and paintings as well as the family history increased the enjoyment.
We then visited the Franciscan monastery with the catacombs underneath full of skulls and bones. Finished the tour with a walk to the Plaza de Armes
The weather here is unreal. 10mm of rain in a year and mist for nine months of the year.
Tomorrow is a five o'clock start when we fly back to Cusco and visit the Sacred Valley.
