Right, soooo I have arrived safetly in Aberystwyth, Wales. The train trip was brilliant, really. Well.. the first bit was somewhat boring, but once we entered Wales, there were miles of green hills with sheep everywhere and little baby lambs that I really wanted to cuddle!! I've decided that the best way to overcome lonliness is to make friends and that's exactly what I did. I started chatting the boy across from me and I shared some American candy with him and his new fav is reeses .. but who's isn't anyway? He helped me get on my other train and he was very helpful! Then another guy came along and he let me read a book he had just purchased about some guy who found ancient gold from swords and helmets in his backyard with a metal detector. What a lucky bloke.

Anyway, Aber is cold. it's 9am and it is only 6 C which is warm for this time of day and is around 40 F.. Anyway, we went to a pub and it happened to be pub quiz night

. Honestly, I didn't know at least 3/4 of the questions. Some of them were about America and I felt like an idiot, but whatever.. I'm still intelligent!!!

Right, anyway, then we took a walk on the oceanfront.. so beautiful and it really did remind me of the sound of the California coast :) shells everywhere on the beach and grey sand/pebbles. Right, so im about to go explore and have some coffee.. last night Sam heated frozen peas and warmed up frozen chicken etc for me for dinner which was really kind.. and tonight we are making real food .. and im going to help cook it :o wish me luck! 

One more thing: I have my train ticket to manchester for arrival at around 19.00 (7pm) but if I choose a later train (10£ more) I can get there at midnight, giving me an opportunity to go to Snowdonia!! google that too!!! http://www.freewebs.com/fairwaysmorfabychan/Snowdonia.jpg

If my manchester person thinks thats good, then ill just pay an extra amount because hiking in this place would be a dream. Right, I had my clothes washed everyone (esp mom and dad ) so I dont smell anymore.. yayyyyy!!!! :)

Wow! Those look like amazing places to visit! I'm glad that you got to wash your clothes and such as you ended up packing way less than what I packed for just a week :P It is a nice surprise to see your updates go up! Keep 'em coming! :)

Yayyyyy on the clothes washing..you know how dad loves the smell of clean clothes hahahahahha. We Wish you luck on the cooking...and luck to Sam too.
