Well I never. Fancy me getting called riff raff!! What's more it was at the local bowling club whilst I was watching my much loved Uncle Steve play off in a semi final. At least I didn't wear my rah rah skirt. It was actually Sandra that was the problem i was sitting demurely watching. Oh by the way we lost :-(

Peebles, initially a market town is in the Scottish Borders area, it lies on the River Tweed and has a population of around 8,000. Guess why I went there? Well it has the highest shoe shop ratio to population than anywhere else in the UK.  And the answer to the question on all your lips is NO I did not buy any shoes!! I did however have a lovely day there with Sandra and Murdo last Saturday.  We wandered around the shops, took some pics, partook of some lunch and yes of course went to the pub for a pint then had a long walk along the river side. As you can see by the pics it was a gorgeous sunny day. As was Sunday so we headed over to the Ellwyn for the session.
I have so many pics of the Castle but none with blue sky as a background so have taken lots more pics this week whilst in town. Hope you enjoy them. I also visited St Cuthberts but couldn't get in as it was too late so inside photos will follow. This Parish Church is at the foot of the castle and Christianity has been celebrated continuously on this site for thirteen centuries. The steeple is from 1789. The burial grounds here are so big as are the Tombstones and in amongst the tombstones there are chairs and peaceful little corners where you can sit and enjoy the sun, snog, meditate, eat an ice cream or have a coffee.
I have also visited the art gallery this week and surrounded myself with beautiful paintings.
Princes St Gardens is packed every day with people enjoying the sunshine.
I have organised accommodation for the Highland Games. Mmmm lots of men in kilts :-) tossing things around. Should be some great pics that weekend.

Observations: in the countryside folk drive their tractors everywhere here in the Uk just like they are cars.
Obesity is a worldwide problem- do men not realise that taking their shirts off when they have huge beer bellies is definitely NOT an option and is not something anyone should have to be subjected to. Women if your a size 20 wear size 20 not size 12 and think you look sexy - you DON'T!!!
There are definitely not as many numpties on the road here as in Perth.
Crisps go with ANYTHING!!
Some people just have no manners.

Well that's it from me for now from Bonnie Scotland. Hope you are all well and happy and may your lives be filled with ease and grace.

Love and Hugs
