Hi everyone,
Yes, yes I know another entry and NO pictures. This internet thing is not so accessible as I thought. I am now on a Mac computer and have not yet been able to upload pictures. I will keep plugging away at it.
I thought I would send a quick update since we start walking tomorrow. The weather here is sunny and clear and looks like it might stay that way for a few days. We arrived in Lyme Regis about 2 hours ago after a busy day. This morning we went to a huge car boot sale in a farmers field. `(the equivalent of a "garage sale". Each car pays £2.50 to get in and there had to be around 500-700 cars there. The vendors also pay a fee to be in the field, so that farmer is really making a "cash crop".
The highlight of this, (other than all the junk Paul bought) is that for you Corrie fans, I spied "Peter Barlow" and chased after him and said hello.....funny thing though, he did NOT ask me for my autograph or even a picture! hmph!!!!
We had a bonus on the train route, when the train duty manager sent us to the wrong platform to change trains. We missed our connection and went back and mentioned the error. They immediately admitted she had made an error and called a taxi that took us the remainder of the way (which was in excess of £50 cab fare)
When we got here was when I figured out I had left both of my jackets hanging back in the bed and breakfast, so tomorrow we must do a bit of shopping before we start, and we hope to do 11 miles to Bridport.
We've taken lots of pictures, and they will be here , SOON PEOPLE, SOON!!
