Wow, so we got on a plane this morning and flew from Quito to Galapagos. The plane stopped in Guayaquil. On the plane was the Vice President of the Republinc of Ecuador ?yes flying on our plane- an equivalent of flying Air Canada Tango. This made us very nervous. See a previous entry named conspiracy if you dont know why. I cant ffind the apostrophe or brackets on this keyboard. Sorry.
The fact that the VP was with about 18 seemingly top military officials helped with the nerves as we were hopeful the military would not want to blow themselves up too.
Other than that the flight was uneventful. We arrived in Baltra and were met by Sara our guide for our boat - the Amigo. She took us on a bus, boat taxi, bus to the port in Purto Ayora and we boarded our boat for a 4 day tour - not a 3 hour tour....
More to come.....
