Well the summer here is over. We had a great time at Red Pine Camp. It was magical for the children for sure! I had the opportunity to work with some amazing people! Now we are looking forward to all of the interesting people and places we are going to see this year while we travel.

We are starting to panic a bit as we realize that we have only 3 weeks left before we go and we still have so much planning to do. We are still changing some of our plans. We are cutting out a couple of Eastern European countries in favour of Turkey.

We are worried that we have spent too long planning our Sept-Dec trip and have done nothing yet for our South and Central America trip in the new year! I keep saying though that trip planning is like Christmas shopping, You're never finished until the day arrives and then you're finished as you have no other choice. I'm sure we will get everything done that is necessary.

I've lucked into 4 supply teaching jobs. I am hoping to get 11 so as to get my pension credit for the year but I'm beginning to think that I don't have the time to do this. I would really like to be able to get this done before the end of the school year though.

I have connected with my cousin (Kate) in England and she and her family are going to put us up for the first week and a bit of our trip. She lives about 20mins outside of London so this is great for being able to see London. I'm so glad that my kids will get to meet Kate's kids and set up a new connection. When I was in grade 8 Kate come over to Canada and stayed at my parent's house for a few weeks. My Dad and my sister and I went and stayed with her parents when I was in University too. So now the next generation will meet.

I better go. There is so much to do it is hard to know where to start. Leave me comments. I like to hear from you.
