Where I stayed
LimeTime Hostel

Woke up in the fancy hotel room.
It felt wrong somehow and I was still processing the events from last night and trying to get a bearing on the big city.

Went down to the lobby to get some decent breakfast and I must say there was no complaining about what was served. I made an extra effort to stuff myself full of food to prepare for a possibly not so pleasant day. Negativity still lingered in the air ..

I set out to find  the LimeTime Hostel as I was told by Nathalia that it was pleasant to stay there.
Looked for and found an internet cafe and looked up the adress while I added some blog entries and checked on home. It was good to see my mother on skype, it helped to return me to a sense of normality. With newfound spirit I nagivated myself to the hostels street but could not find it. I met a friendly man - Alberto - who helped me find the correct place. We talked for a while and i learned that he was a lawyer preparing for his exams to become a federal judge. He was a pleasant man and he gave me his number when we departed, telling me I could call him for anything at any time.

Checked in to the hostel which seemed to be quite a nice place. Got in touch with a local and he took me out to an appartment where we sat down and they enjoyed some of the local flavors. Afterwards we went to a local pub and I introduced them to Duvel. They were pleasantly surprised.

When I got back to the hostel I had a drink with the other guests and around midnight the bar closed. That was our queue to get ready to get dressed up a bit and we were off to a local club - D Edge. We had some great fun at the club and I ended up catching a cab back to the hostel with one of the girls. She didnt speak English, I didnt speak portuguese. We both spoke the same body language.

An end of a good day in Sao Paulo.

Hmm ok now it's getting more exciting :) No more negativity lingered in the air ! Hoping the girl wasn't a guy, knowing the reputation of the famous Brazillian shemales :))))

Jan's blog starts to read like a book, up to the following episode !

zeg Don Jakke

gij zijt daar nogal het beest aan het uithangen! Geweldig!

Het is heel leuk om je ups en downs mee te kunnen volgen. Het kriebelt tot in mijn kleine teentjes als ik zulke reisverhalen lees.

I wonder : Did the body language make you shiver out of pleasure or shyness; in other words : how beautiful was the girl and how assertive was she. If I have any feel for the South-American culture, which I actualle don't( I'm just thinking in stereotypes over here), then I'm guessing she had all the right qualities, which makes that you had all the right reactions. Enjoy it and remember some adresses and phonenumbers, so DeKimme knows what to do during his next vacation

pictures are difficult guys as it takes a whole lot of time to upload them and I have limited access to the internet. I will get myself to another internet cafe soon and try to spend some hours there :-) Added the last batch to facebook though while I was waiting for my bus :-)
