Everybody told me that i HAD to take the boat tour.

I finally folded after an hour of not being able to decide.

Went in to town to buy a beach-towel. They are a lot thinner here but it's not a problem, it's 35 - 40 degrees anyways so you kind of dry up automatically. The beach towel is more used for not having to sit in the sand and hang over your body in order not to get your skin boiled off.

I arrived at 11.00 in the marina - way too late of course. The boat was packed and I found a spot on the top deck at the end of a nice brazilian man's recliner. He of course started of a conversation (they always do - quite friendly people indeed). Turns out his cousin works in Wisconsin USA so he actually made a nice effort to speak english. Tip for the future though, take these kind of things during the week, in the weekend it's full of local tourists and not foreigners - harder to make friends.

The boat trip would basicly pass 4 beaches I was told. We arrived at the first beach and it was amazing! Dove of the boat in to the water, swam to the beach and lied down for a while until the horn started going, indicating we had to get back. The views are simply amazing, unbelievable locations. This is definitely a must stop if you ever travel around in this region.

After hours of enjoying the views, relaxing on the boat, swimming around and watching the fish we arrived back in town.

Got back to the hostel, read a bit in my book, had an orange juice on the beach and before i knew it night fell and we were starting the bbq and the 2 hour long free cocktail madness.

After 2 hours everyone was was mighty drunk and well fed :-)

Met alot of new people for random conversations, lots of australians - they have their summer hollidays now and lots of them are doing the 3 month or longer tour.

After the party I had intended to go to bed but I decided to go in to town anyways with the girls and the dutch couple and several others.

Had a great time. Some more alcohol, some good drums and before you knew it I was actually attempting to do some sort of dance.

Had a nice conversation while walking back to the hostel and the girls promissed to hook up again to celebrate my birthday. I left my email the next day since I didnt see them anymore and I'm not sure if they got the message. No adding activity on FB anyways :-(

(de énige!) Nolle on

He jakkeman!
