From Bariloche, we set off for the Atlantic coast of Argentina; after an awesome 14 hour night bus, we arrived in Bahia Blanca, which was much like Cordoba in that the only thing to do there was to organize a swift exit. Following another uncomfortable night bus, we found ourselves in a resort-town called Villa Gesell, where we put in some time on the beach.

Villa Gesell is like pretty much any beach resort: there was sun, there was sand and there was an ocean; the only difference was the disproportionately high number of absolutely beautiful human beings, we unfortunately did not fit into this category. The fact that restaurants didn't open until around 8pm, meaning we were eating our steak around 9:30pm did not help matters as the steak was still clearly visible around our waists the next day; I have no idea what those people on the beach ate but I can tell you it was not 9:30pm steak.

Despite 4 days of non-stop sun, we remained the whitest people on the beach, possibly the entire coast. Not much else to report from Villa Gesell except that a big pigeon pooped on Daryn’s head; it was very, very funny – we’re pretty sure it was the same pigeon who was eyeing D’s head up over breakfast that morning.

Leaving the beach, we set off to Buenos Aires. We’re not huge fans of big cities, even less so when it’s so hot that eating makes you sweat. I’m afraid our heat-induced lethargy has been reflected in few pictures we took and this short, boring entry :)

It’s too hot to write any more.

Next stop, Iguazu Falls, we promise we’ll be more exciting there; maybe we’ll hydrospeed over the falls or something…

Hi you guys, glad to hear you had some beach time, wish we had hot weather.

Whilst you're in Buenos Aires can you conduct a quick, straw poll as to the popularity of us Brits, at present?
I would keep your UK citizenship quiet whilst there?

Glad you're still having fun.
