Wow, what a hard but pretty drive it is through the Blue Mountains (and the farming towns before) to Sydney.  The car at one stage actually starting getting really hot (first time) since the hills are so steep going in and out the mountains.  Our caravan is over 24ft and full of all our gear so the poor 4WD had her first really hard work, but pulled through very well, the car has been working 100% and never had a problem with it.

We were very happy to stop in Sydney after driving 4 days straight from Adelaide.  We didn't drive much around the city, the roads are crazy!

We spent a day in the city checking out the Opera House, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and a bit of shopping.  We caught the train in which was easy and the kids loved going on the monorail a few times above the streets, it was a great was to rest our feet too, so tiring for little kids!

Was great to catch up with some old friends from Perth - Troy had a night catching up with Davo, Berenice had a wonderful time out with Victoria, we got to go to William's school fete which was really good, also had a great brunch at the Mitchell's house just before leaving Sydney.

The boys got to have a wonderful play at the Wiggly Play Centre in Seven Hills and met Dorothy for her birthday and saw her dance with one of the Wiggles dancers.  This play was just Wiggles everything, rides, food, the colours everywhere and very organised.  Both of our boys have in the past been completely obsessed with the Wiggles so it was amazing to see them so excited to be there.

The caravan park had the best 20 seater spa I have ever seen and a huge heated pool.  We had a great time in it and so did the Mitchell family when they came to see us at the caravan park and check out our 'home' on wheels!

Berenice snuck out for a few hours and got a shopping fix at the Parklea Markets which is over the road from the caravan park we were staying in.
