Wow, what a beautiful river the Murray is! It goes and goes and goes for ages. We saw quite a few VERY large houseboats parked over the opposite side of the river, we were amazed on the size of them! The river wasn't very wide but was good enough for quite a few people wake boarding and kneeboarding out the front of the caravan park. It is an awesome spot to park your ski boat on the waters edge and walk a few meters to your cabin with lovely shadey trees everywhere. Unfortunately it was a really hot week and we didn't get to play too long at the playground or bouncing pillow as we were sweating at 6pm outdoors still! The region around Berri, Renmark, Mildura etc is great for fresh fruit and veg but there it is a fruit fly prohibited region so taking fruit & veg around SA, Vic & NSW is a little hard. In all, Renmark is a beautiful area and definately work the mornings drive from Adelaide for a great getaway on the Murray River.
