Hello from the hea(r)t of Siena, where everything is hot including the two young travellers from Blighty!
We have used Siena as a chill out base as we are both starting to suffer from the travellers diesease of Cultural Burnout.
Symptoms include:
A lack of motivation
Every church/catherdral/street looks the same
You feel sick at the thought of pizza
You wanna stay in bed, watch MTV but you can't cos it's too hot!!
Anyway we have been wandering again and found that Siena is a gorgeous little place with one of the most beautiful squares in the world - the Ill Campo. We have sat here for three days and nights watching the world go by with a 1 euro bottle of Peroni (Dave - wait till you join us, none of that puffy strawberry wine!) and a copy on the Sun newspaper!
The digs we are staying in are great, we even got the only balcony in the place and we sit down with other guests swapping stories over a home-made breakfast.
Other than that we have wandered the backstreets and winding alleyways which reveal more ancient and inmpressive squares and buildings - but at the mo - WE JUST DON'T CARE!!
On to Perugia
H & J xx

I am a little bit puzzled. Have you got a third person with you, you know, someone who is taking the photos of the two of you?
Yours abit mixed up, Brenda.
