After the first show in Tampere, tonight's show is in Helsinki for what is apparently the 'big one' out of the 3 dates; On The Rocks Bar! We're being joined tonight by Russian rockers Old School from St Petersburg. I've heard good things about this club so let's see if it stands up to it's reputation.

So, come about 10am we woke up to Dom coming in to see if we wanted any breakfast. He was also armed to the teeth, "check these out" he says and he pulls out 3 pistols and a pair of shotguns, "these are my toys, oh and remember that machine gun Hamid told you about? Go out on the balcony and take a look". Sure enough, there was a stage built in his yard with a Maxim 1919 machine gun just sitting there, like a garden ornament. Coolest god-damn garden ornament I've ever seen, that's for damn sure.

We hung out for a while and Dom showed us around the rest of his house and his collection of choppers and sick cars, as well as his practice room/studio, all built into his garage. An insane man cave it was!

As it started to get dark we packed up and headed for the bus to get our ride to Helsinki, more boozing ensued thanks to the fact Hamid had taken us to a booze supermarket called, get this...."Alko". Brandy, beer, gin, check. Gonna be messy. We got to the venue and the first thing we noticed was that there was a wifi network in the building called Angry Birds Wi-fi, we were confused. We got sound check done and after gawping at the crazy little amp simulators the Russians were using, we went for dinner at the nearby Chinese. Trying to play a show when you've just finished possibly the biggest portion of satay prawns ever is a bad idea. Still though, the locals seemed to get into the music and we got some love from the DJ and a few lads in the crowd.

As the night went on we noticed more and more people showing up in either Angry Birds or Star Wars outfits, we couldn't figure this out until I spoke to some dude who was absolutely wankered and just about managed to explain it was the Angry Birds staff party to celebrate the launch of the new Angry Birds Starwars game, so that explained the wi-fi network then.

The night drew on and it was time for BRM's set. They absolutely rocked Helsinki and had the crowd eating out of the palm of their hands, and I got to see a woman who had spikes on her boobs, so it was a winning night all round really. We eventually got loaded out of the venue (after emptying the rider fridge of course) and continued making short work of our beer stash on the bus home. Tim surprisingly didn't try to jump out of the bus this time, I think he was just too drunk to make it to the door this time heheheh. Good man.
