We decided to rock some luxury on our final day in Vegas so we hit the Mandalay Bay. We couldn't believe our eyes when we walked in, the place was huge. I mean literally, it went on for days.

A little expensive to eat n drink here but never mind. This was 5 star luxury. Big room on the floor below the top floor, with an amazing view of the strip. Huuuge comfy beds and an awesome bathroom with a phone in it!

The food was really tasty (we ate at the Chinese place again as it seemed to be the cheapest place there) and the food, setting and staff were top notch apart from the stupid bar maid who tried to take the piss out of our accents. Yorkshiremen don't appreciate that shit, and she got told.

The pool was amazing, 3 different pools including a wave pool and a lazy rapids. Each of the pools had it's own cocktail bar and jacuzzis, so we did the Bond thing and sipped Daiquaris with beautiful women in the jacuzzis. Top place, shame we missed a wicked gig at their club the night after. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and for 5 star business like this, it's cheap too.

After a day in the sun getting pissed and letching at bikini ladies we went to get changed for a night out, got all ready n then passed out on our respective beds, only to wake up at midnight realising we had very little money and little in the way of will to go out: FAIL.
I ordered the biggest steak sandwich I could get to console myself (check the pics), and it worked a treat. In all honesty I don't think I could've faced another night on the Strip, especially with no money and a 9am flight the next morning so we sacked it off and went to bed. It was a mildly disappointing end to an amazing trip, but that was a tiny part of a trip of a lifetime and was never going to spoil the holiday as a whole. I will stay in Vegas again one time, and I will rinse it properly on the Strip, for now though it'll have to wait as I've got SE Asia and the Pacific to take care of first.
