Where I stayed
Plantas y Blanco hostel
It is tiny place here, surrounded by a few more mountains, and A SWISS restaurant!!!!! I had Fondue.
Arriving at night and was ready for bed when came from nowhere 2 Canadians who convinced me I needed a drink, it took them 1.57 seconds to do it. Now realise that I had just been on a dare devil Rapids trip in Tena on the same day and it was nowhere near as dangerous as going out with these two!!! They girl pushing everyone in the middle of a circle to dance, including the locals (who I must admit were thoroughly enjoying it!) and then jumping off the stage into our arms. So after a while the locals were getting right into this and then I am at the front catching this guy, but he falls just on us 2 and my head made direct target for the other guys tooth, either that or he was hungry! I am so glad now I had that Rabies shot! But I do have a little bump on my head. I went home at this point!
The following day I went Cannoning. The first thing the Ecuadorian tourists said, "Hey you have a bump on the head!!" I told them I went rapids and then met up with some Canadians, they instantly laughed somehow knowing! Cannoning is cool, pictures tell most of the story though. After that you can also see the bridge swing "have a go, bery seguro"....was good fun.
In addition to all this we made our way to some lunch and Pailon Del Diablo, one big ass Cascada.
The next few days I tried some Spanish lessons - oh mi Dio.........and then the last was a painful bike trek to a jungle town called Puyo, which was a tad ugly to be fair but the way was very scenic.
