With little to keep us occupied in the nearby town of Olongapo outside of a brief walkabout we return to the marina early afternoon to assist with the preparation of S/Y Jennifer for her return to the water. The crane that transports her back to her natural environment is impressive. Without strain it lifts the boat and carries her through the marina. With zero room for error she is slowly lowered into the water.

We will spend tonight on land but after that we should be at sea for the next month. Our plan is to sail north, exploring the Filipino coastline before crossing to Taiwan and finally Xiamen, China. It should be a fascinating trip.
