As i'd gone north already I though i'd make a trip of it and visit one of Mexico's other main cities. Unfortunately it was just that, a main city and there wasn't a lot to do. I went out to the small town of Tequila nearby where the drink comes from and where the main distilleries are found. Went on a tour of the Jose Cuervo one which involved far too many free tasters of different sorts of tequila as if they were handing out chocolate and not pretty foul tasting alcohol! I only stayed a couple of days as I though my time could be better spent.
