yeah, i got lost in wellingon, for 2 hours, i had no idea where i was. no map, no-one to ask where i was going as i'd lost everyone i was with over lunch ( i had sushi ), i just knew which direction from the coast line i was and which direction the hostel was in, but not which street it was on. so i just wanderered around taking in the views.
there are some strange people in wellington, the coach driver was right, he said to walk around and look at the freaks of wellington, he was so right !! but i really liked the city, a place a could spend a lot of time, with a population of about 1 million, its spread over a large area, and most of it hilly, with it lying on a major fault line through New Zealand, it is liable to many a earthquake and the odd volcanic eruption too. adds a bit of spice to living there i guess ! !
i bumped into Mark, one of the guys from the bus, he was just as lost as i, so we decided to find the museum and check it out, and im glad i did, possibly the one of my favorite museums ive been to. they have a 21 metres blue whale hanging above one of the concources, it unreal, and a baby too, the biggest being 35 metres ? ! ? ! madness,
it only just fitted into the room, i cant imagine what the 35 metres would be like. other than HUGE !
i would defo recomend it.
at night i checked out the party that was the beginning to the international rugby sevens tournament, there must have been a million guys out and about. before we headed to the party, we went to see the Parade of all the players from all the competing nations going past on milk floats throwing freebies at people. pretty cool.

than back on the bus at 8am friday morning ! dam these early mornings.
