During our stay at Cobbold Gorge and Townsville Oscar met a 'Bob the Builder' enthusiast named Elvin. Elvin, who was 4 years old, also bought an assortment of Bob toys on his travels. The two played endless 'bob/dinosaur' games during our stay together even though Elvin didn't speak a word of English and Oscar's German really wasn't up to scratch. They just enjoyed each others company despite the language barrier. As a parting gift Elvin bought Oscar a 'Lightning McQueen' car and Oscar in return gave him his very special Rollie. (Elvin, if you read this, Oscar recently acquired Scrambler, Trix and Jackaroo). Check out the photos of the two beautiful boys.
We were also lucky enough to spent some time with Dodo and Lars and shared stories over some local beer, wine and coffee.
