Santa Marta is another beautiful coastal town, warm and friendly. As it was a bank holiday (Again) it was hard to appreciate all it's charm (but we will be back after taganga and tayrona).

We went for a walk around the city to see the sites and take in all it had to offer, great parks to relax in to escape some of the scorching afternoon sun, some beautiful buildings and crystal clear blue ocean!

A fleeting visit before we headed by taxi to nearby taganga, a small fishing village.
