The first place that we stayed at outside of Dubai was Fujairah. We ended up staying at a place called the Fujariah Beach Motel. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves including a massive sweet swimming pool. We thought with a name like Beach Motel that the place was going to be on a beach, which I think is a pretty reasonable assumption. We could see the ocean behind us however there was a massive mound of dirt the size of a few rugby fields and in a state of construction and all fenced off. Anyway we had a look around town at night and went for a meal consisting of traditional Arab Wonto Ton Soup and Chicken Fried Rice, before deciding to head up the coast a bit more the next day.
