From Murchison we were going to head up through Nelson and then onto Picton but at the cross raods we made a quick decison to go up through Blenheim and then onto Picton. The other two had simply run out of cash and needed to get to Wellington quick smart so they could start looking for work and I had decided it would be a better route for me as I wanted to drive the crest of the Northern Coast along to the Able Tasman National Park. Blenheim was another hub of winemaking, many in New Zealand with heaps of well know New Zealand Brands as well as plenty of unfamilar smaller wineries.

We eventually got into Picton and found our campsite, another one of the Top 10 chains throughout the country. This one even had a swimming pool. During the day we went for a couple of pints before heading over to the Ferry Terminal to book the couples tickets for the next day.

After that we decided to take a cruise around the hills to the ridges that overlook the Queen Charlotte Sound. This place was promising to be awesome. After the drive I decided to pick up a case of beer as it would be the last night that we would all be travelling together. That night quite a few beers were consumed at the campsite amongst a few games of cards.

The next morning it was time to drop Team Wales off at the Terminal. It was a pretty low key farewell as I'd be seeing them in a couple of weeks anyway after I'd had a chance to look around the remaining places I wanted to see. It was quite a wierd feeling being alone again as I had spent the last few weeks with constant company. It took a get of getting used to again but I have always enjoyed travlling around on my own, there are no constraints.
