Chefchaouen was a fantastic place to unwind and start to soak up some of the Moroccan way of life. We stayed in an absurdly cheap, clean and central hotel, which was full of other travellers. The village of Chefchaouen is located in the Riff mountains and the village itself is a maze of mud brick white and light blue washed houses, shops and restaurants. It's a pretty spectacular place with the mountains rising steeply above the village and a very chilled out place to stay.
