Madrid was a very likeable city despite the heat, which was quite restricting at 43 degrees. There again weren't loads and loads to see but we just appreciated the different areas of Madrid. We experienced some Spanish cuisine at a quaint little bar just around from our hotel, dining out on Paella. We also visited Plaza de Mayour Madrids famous square. We also visited the elaborately decorated rooms of the Palacio Real. Another highlight was the typical top deck style tour bus, which took us through all the sights at dusk.
