From Montreux we caught a ferry down into Geneva. The boat took five awesome hours with feet up in the sun, watching the vineyards and small villages passing by on the each side of the shores. Very relaxing!
We eventually floated into Geneva past the 140m high plume of water from the Jet D'eau before heading to our campsite which was 7km back down the lake from Geneva town central. We spent most of our time bathing beside the lake and swimming in the fresh waters. I after boasting the european sun doesn't get to me managed to get particully sunburnt on one day and was in pretty constant pain for the next few days, Lesson well and truly learnt. Hitching out of Genevea took ages as we first had to get into town form the campsite and then find the road heading out of the city, jump on a random bus and then start hitching, so it took as a good 3 hours to pack up and get out onto the highway.
