Visited the Barossa Valley with my friend Simon. We visited the Orlando Winery who make Jacob's Creek. Their land spread out for miles, it really was huge. We took a nice scenic drive with a lookout over the Barossa Valley which must be the greenest area of South Australia, the country's driest state!! We visited Penfold's winery, Australia's most popular wine and then on to Wolf Blass, the King of wines, well my favourite anyway... I just had to buy a bottle...
Was booked on the Ghan Train up to Alice Springs at 4.15pm. A 19 hour trip!Goodbye Adelaide......
