Today, we went to Meteor Crater. Papaw and I went on a mile hike with the Ranger around the rim. Mamaw couldn't go because she wore Birkinstocks. Then we went to Walnut Creek National Monument. It has a lot of ruins in the rocks. I counted over 80 of them. It was 1 and 1/2 miles and up and down steps. I got another Junior Ranger badge at Walnut Creek! When the day was over I walked over 2 1/2 miles. We stopped tfor the night at Williams, Arizona. It is the gateway to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We will visit them the next few days. We have been on and off route 66, It is neat!
