This was my first flight alone.I flew over lake michigan when i landed in chigago! it was relly hot whene i got off the plane.it was about 105 degrees outside mamaw and papaw ment me at the gate mamaw had the top down on the car.when i went in the car i was sweating.the first stop was the the alamo,riverwalk, we saw the movie of the alamo,we went out to eat at hard rock. in 1836 davey crocket came with people to help save texas.for 13days. There were 1200 mexicans and 200 people fighting for texas jim boowie.
We went on a boat ride on the san antonio river it was built to prevent flooding it was dug out beaneth the streets it flooded the water was 9 stories high.
We ate dinner at the hard rock care i got a cheese burger and french fries.

So glad you had a great and safe flight! Uncle Dave and I were at the Alamo last December so we know just where you were. Quite a place, isn't it? What happened was very sad, but also very inspiring. It's been cool in Florida...lots of rain. Uncle Dave and I did errands today and were gone most of the day. Question about the Alamo...who wore the coonskin cap from Tennessee? Love, Aunt Cindy P.S.
