Leaving Wilpena, we headed south to Quorn. We stumbled on Emily's Emporium for lunch. It was an amazing renovation of a classic old town emporium. It had ambience plus and the best shepherds pie and veg we have ever tasted - no need for dinner tonight!
Fuel stop - Wilmington with some advice about a great overnight site.
Seven kms of rough dirt road up the mountain to the lookout - just as we turned off the highway, the grader appeared and gave us the ok  - perfect timing or divine help?
We slowly wound our way to the summit of Hancock's Lookout stopping to collect firewood on the way.. What a view over Spencer's Gulf. This site definitely has the wow factor but is quite chilly
Time to get the camp fire going! Another fantastic experience in God's great outdoors!
