The internet connection at the hotel I am at is a joke and keeps crashing so this is going to be a short one.
We had the most incradible day. I stood for about 9 1/2 hours on the bow of a long tail boat as we cruised up the Tonle Sap River from Siem Reap's Lake Tonle Sap up to Battambang.
I took 10 GIG of photos, but the connection is to slow to put many up.
I am turning a toasty gold color, even with the 1/2 dozen times I put on sun screen.
Interesting crop, quite recognizable along the river in about 2 acre rectangles.
This alternating with corn .. . I did not know you could grow corn on a flood plain.
The hotel is nice, but not near as gorgeous as the Green Village Palace. But what can you expect for $10 a day with 2 large beds, air conditioning and a refriderator, less than 1/2 block from the main market with internet downstairs?
Luv to all.
