In the pjazza San Publju (plaza St Publis) in front of the St Publis Catholic church at Floriana, just outside the gates of the city of Valletta they had a feast to Saint Publis. The first night they set off 15 ground fireworks pieces, I have called them Iridean in the past, in Malta they are called Kumpless tan-nar.
These are the reason you go to Malta!
