Having left Tacom in the morning, we stopped at Entertainment Fireworks, south of Olympia for a few hours and began our journey in earnest at 2:30 in the afternoon.

By the time we got to Oregon the sun was setting and I was able to take this photo of Mt. Hood while crossing the I205 bridge between Washington and Oregon . . .

People on Cell Phones Kill People

My new favorite bumper sticker was pasted on the back of this interestingly painted van.

"GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE,
PEOPLE TALKING ON CELL PHONES KILL PEOPLE"

Shortly after the sun sat and we drove the entire length of Oregon in the dark. We spent the night in Ashland.
