I stopped at Shaker Village on the way to Lebanon this morning and found it a fascinating place to visit.
Interesting group these Shakers, they practiced celibacy so . . . they all died without replacing themselves . .
I went to the Old Calvery Cemetery, next to the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church which is the fourth oldest church in Kentucky looking for Albert Mattingly's headstone .. .which I never did find, but I did see some real interesting grave sites .. .
I went to three graveyards today in Calvery, Lebanon and Springfield, Kentucky . . and only found one headstone I was looking for. Hopefully tomorrow will be more successful.
St Dominics Cemetery in Springfield
After it got dark I went to St Rose and took a couple descent photos.
