The Site Devoted To America's Most Hallowed Ground And To The Heroes And The Pathfinders Who Rest At Peace There - Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, USA
200 acres, Including the grave of the Unknown. Of interest is the fact that there has not been a body since Vietnam (including Vietnam) that has been unidentified, due to DNA testing. I am curious if they have everybody do a mouth swab before they go to war now.
The grave of the Unknown of the Battle of Bull Run has the bones of 2111 men buried beneath it. Sounds more like they had archaeologist dig up the battlefield than gathering up bodies at the time of the war. . . I don't know .. .
It was a very respectful place, they insisted on low voices and admonished anybody talking above a whisper.
