This was a truly beautiful weekend and a fabulous fireworks show that went off without a hitch.
The pyro crew included Jerry Mignano as Lead Pyro assisted by Jackie Whedbee, Larry Mattingly and Sam Amoto.

Fireworks fan & traveler
Hi Jackie,
I came across your blog today and enjoyed reading about your involvement in fireworks displays and your travels. I've really enjoyed the fireworks displays at the Alaska State Fair over the years. Did you participate in the fireworks display for Alaska's 50 Years of Statehood celebration in Anchorage? It was worth the drive into town from Wasilla for me.
50th Aniversay Fireworks Show
Ironically I was so busy working on the shows I did for New Years Eve that I had not been watching tv and did not even see any ads for the 50th Anniversary Show.
I sat at home and missed it . . .
You really should put Founders Day on your calender. It is always the 3rd Saturday in August . . .at the Houston Fire Station . . .
I am sure you would like it.
