After a horrible sleep we got up a little tired in the morning. The first half of the night was swelteringly hot and so we had to keep the windows open but this just let the mosquitoes in so I (Jackie) woke up with a ton of bites, although once again James woke with not a single bite on him....I must have sweet blood or something. Luckily it did eventually cool off though so we were able to sleep a bit better halfway through the night.

We got up, had breakfast, got ready and mapped out the way to the tower from our hostel and left. Once again it was horribly hot out and so we tried to keep to the shade while walking along the streets to get to the tower. When we reached the tower it was amazing to see just how much it leans. We spent the next hour trying to get pictures of us holding it up or trying to push it over and then just chilling out on the grass eating a bunch of grapes we brought along. We were thinking about going to the top but didn't feel like waiting in line in the blistering sun or climbing the stairs in the massive beast so we just walked through all of the hawkers stalls and looked at what they had to sell.

When we returned to the hostel we sat and worked on the blog while trying to ignore the fact that it was 35 degrees and we were sweating buckets. That night after we had went to bed one of the guys from the hostel came into the room and shut our window and turned the A/C on, we thought awesome!.....but it turned out that he set it on very low and it really didn't cool anything off and with the window closed we didn't even get the cool air from outside in the middle of the night, grrrrr.
