We still weren't feeling 100% ourselves the day we were to leave Hvar so we slept in as late as we could before having to get our bags out of the room and then just sat upstairs working on the blog while we waited until it was time to leave on the ferry. While we were sitting upstairs the owner of the place was having dinner with his family and his wife brought over a peive of cake for us! Also when it was time to go to the ferry Branco gave us a ride down to a road close to the harbour and we thanked him and said good bye. We left Hvar on the ferry and headed back to Split.

The next day we had to until 2pm before our tain was to leave so we wandered around in the old fort walls checking out all the little shops and stopped at a large outdoor cafe for lunch. We aren`t used to their menus obviously because we ordered what we thought was a meal and pretty much just got side dishes for the price of a meal, grrr. We ended up stopping for a plate of spaghetti on our way to the station because I (Jackie) was still hungry.

Our total travel time from Split to Nonnenhorn was 21 hours, thankfully we got a night train from Zagreb to Munich so it went by pretty quick (however we almost missed our train to Munich because the Split to Zagreb train was half an hour late!, really dicey situation) .

When we arrived back at my (James') cousin's house we found out that Diane had broken her shoulder from falling off her bike (she hit a hidden stub in the ground and it was raining so her tire slipped on the grass and she landed on her shoulder wrong, ouch) and was going to have to get surgery later in the week.
