We arrived in Krakow and found our hostel then went and explored the old town to see what it had to offer. Jackie was also on the hunt for perogies as we haven't had any since we left home and she's missed all the family gatherings where she gets home-made perogies. We ended up eating at a kebab place and they also happen to make perogies so we  tried some. They weren't potatoe filled like we were used to but had cottage cheese filling and then cream and sugar poured over them. Had we known this would probably wouldn't have ordered them but we're glad we didn't know because they were delicious!!

When we arrived back at the hostel we met some guys from Scotland (Ross, Brian & Don) and we started playing some drinking games with them. We decided to go out and find a bar to drink at and the hostel staff told us of a place but when we left we completely forgot what it was called, so Brian and Don ran back to the hostel to find out while Jackie, Ross and I found a pub to get a drink while we waited. Turns out we still couldn't find the place even with very specific directions, isn't alcohol amazing. We did however find a bar that sold somewhat cheap beer so we settled in for what was going to be a long night. While we were talking I (James) found out that Ross is also a powerlineman, crazy considering everyone who asks what I do has know idea what I am talking about, so I don't meet too many other lineman. (Jackie: James and Ross then spent probably a good hour staring into each other's eyes talking about powerlining and forming man crushes on eachother. I chatted with Brian and Don and found out they've just finished university for design engineering and one has a job with Proctor & Gamble and the other has a job with Dyson....pretty interesting bunch we were with, and I'm just a boring accountant, haha.)

While we were at this bar we started talking to some local people from town and we ended up misplacing our Scottish friends so we decided to hang out with these people for a while. Both Jackie and I agreed when they asked if we wanted to get something to eat so they took us to KFC and 7 people proceeded to devour two buckets of chicken. Turns out that KFC tastes like shit no matter what country your in. And that is where the night got real fuzzy, somehow we walked to the other side of the city and ended up at a rave/club on the 5-6 floor of some building with like 2000 people crammed in and dancing to techno! We decided we'd had enough partying for now and went downstairs for one last drink. When we got outside we were curious as to why it was light outside, turns out it was 5am in the morning!! We said our goodbyes to our new friends and proceeded to stumble our way back to our hostel having absolutely no idea where we were. It was weird but at 5am there were a surprising amount of people walking around (mostly drunk people). We finally stumbled into bed at around 6am, oh boy.
