We left Tom and Louise's appartment around 10am and just barely got on our 1st train before it left to the main station, oops. We got back to Nonnenhorn around 1:30pm and dropped our stuff off and then went up to Sylvia and Dieter's place to say hi and let them know we were back; lucky us Sylvia had made chicken curry for lunch and had plenty left for us! haha.

Since it was such a beautiful day out we just went and lazed in the sun by the lake for the rest of the afternoon and worked on getting a little colour back into our skin since it's been fading a little since China.

The 28th was also another amazingly sunny day and sadly we started it off by sitting upstairs in the greenhouse on the internet trying to plan our train and hostel for the next day to Paris. Using the booking agents we usually use we weren't able to find any beds in any hostels for practically the whole time we planned on being in Paris but luckily we found a hotel outside of Paris which is only a half hour train ride away so we checked in there; they didn't have a room for the 29th though and so we pushed our departure back one more day. Of course once we finally finished making our plan we spent the rest of the day down at the lake sitting in the sun and taking the odd dip in the water. It was so awesome to get just a couple days to lay by the lake in the sun! Then to top it off, in the evening my (James') cousins joined us for a swim and a BBQ; we love summer!!

The next morning we woke up and packed up our bags in preperation for our next month of travelling before coming back to Nonnenhorn. We went to the grocery store to pick up some food for our train and finally got to contribute something by making lunch for my cousins, even if it was just cooking noodles and warming up chicken she had already prepared.

We spent the rest of the afternoon watching movies, finishing laundry and napping since it was dark and gloomy outside. We of course had supper with Sylvia and the kids and then said goodbye to Jaron since he would be gone to school before we left for the train the next morning.
