Everyone who we talked to said to either see the Giants Causeway or the Cliffs of Moher, since we didn't have time to drive to the Giants Causeway we settled with the cliffs because they were on our way south. When we got there we thought the entrance fee was a real rip-off because they charged at the car-park and instead of a per car rate it was 6 euro's per person! Anyway we walked up to the cliffs and took some amazing pictures. For Jackie and I, after seeing the cliffs in Australia these were pretty much just cliffs, but for my parents they really seemed to enjoy it. We followed the path to where it ended and saw a huge sign that said 'no entry past this point', but we could see a very used path continuing past the sign and figured it was safe to proceed. We took a bunch of pictures of us hanging over the edge and we even convinced my parents to have a look as well. My mother was so nervous that she wouldn't get close enough to look over so I took her purse and put it right on the edge so she had no choice but to get it.

Once we were done with the cliffs we stopped in Ennis for a bite to eat and finally bought the next book in the series I've been reading, also so we could say we ate in Ireland's Ennis, haha.

We wanted to get to the Ring of Kerry tonight so we drove for the rest of the afternoon. When we were getting close to where we wanted to be for the night tragedy struck; my dad had been doing so well on those narrow roads that something was bound to go wrong. As we were crossing a very narrow bridge a car came from the other direction and we managed to scrape the side of the car along the stone wall of the bridge. We figured we would just stop when we came to the next town and thats what brought us to Kells.

It wasn't much but there was a hotel\bar looking out over the lake and ended up being the perfect place to stop. We went downstairs after checking in and started drinking. We ended up on my computer until 1am skyping people back home and a Irishman at the bar decided he wanted to talk to people from Canada also. So our friend Scuba and my brother Eric got the pleasure and the guy asked for their credit card numbers and promised to order them drinks from the bar.
