The day started with us running around trying to get our campervan packed up and cleaned out. We also went to McDonald's for breakfast so we could use the internet to book a hostel for the next three nights and flights to New Zealand but it ended up being the first McD's that we've been to that didn't have wi-fi!
We ended up getting a visitor info center to bok the hostel for us and then we headed into Sydney and dropped our stuff off before taking the van to drop it off too. When we got back to the hostel we decided we better get our growing bag of laundry done and spent a good chunk of the afternoon waiting for our laundry.....not a real interesting b-day so far! haha.
That evening we went out to a nearby pub for a cheap supper organized by the hostel. It was good to have a drink and meet a few people from the hostel. They also had a quiz night going on and the little group we had won it; with a $50 gift certificate for a prize! We decided to meet back up the next night for a few drinks to spend it.
