Where I stayed
For those of you who have never played the game Frogger it is a seemingly easy game to understand until you have to do it in real life with crazed little thai people driving rundown tuktuk's, scooters and shiny Mitsubishi's coming from what seems like every direction in an automotive free-for-all.
After walking around town and checking out some more temples and the "beautiful" river (that no word of a lie smells like the mens room at the Alice hotel) we took a well deserved nap before heading out to the saturday market.
The market was wall-to-wall stands with clothes, souvineers and every kind of food imaginable and street beggar's, from blind flute players to small children dancing, lining the middle of the street. We found some pants and shorts to buy for dirt cheap and bought the most amazing banana/chocolate waffles ever!!
It was not a very eventful day, however we are finally getting to know the streets around us and we're feeling more comfortable, especially after finding the good/cheap places to eat!!
