this afternoon we went to check out the new cable ski area at east coast park called ski 360. It is located right next to the east coast park seafood place. I have wakeboarded before but not in a cable park. So it was really a fun experience. They provide all the equipment and basic instructions...but the price is a little high by local standards....s$40-60 depending on how long you want to do it. Lots of beginners were there trying it out. Most people seem to have a good time there...recommended activity for Singapore if you are tired of the endless shopping malls.
there is also the hawker center (food stalls) area next to the ski park. it's much more affordable compared to the prices at the seafood center. plus you are sitting out side near the beach and shore so there is constant sea breeze, it's a very ideal setting to relax and have delicious and cheap meals. jacob digs it too.
this is the my 2nd visit to singapore in a little over a year. everything still looks spanking new and clean. but i just don't know......the city seems to lack soul, i don't know how elase to explain it.
