G'day everyone and welcome to our travelop entries New Zealand style! Sorry its been a long time since the last entry, but the internet is quite expensive everywhere we have been so have waited to do 5 at a time! Sorry, it is a bit of reading for you! To be honest, so far on the Kiwi Experience, apart from missing the Fantastic 5, not much has been going on! The weather has been miserable everyday and the Kiwi Experince insists on taking us to remote places in the middle of huge valleys where all it does is rain and there is nothing to do! Due to our tight schedule, we have been spending a night in most places and that is by far enough time!!
Ok, so our first stop was the Bay of Islands, north of Auckland, a quick stop off for most people who were interested in doing kayaking. However, Andy and i werent so we joined our group for a 2 hour walk, enjoyed playing pool with a couple of guys that we met that night and took full advantage of the basketball hoop that they had! We are getting the impression that apart from admiring the fantastic scenery, there is not alot to do except for extreme sports! O well, off to Mercury Bay!!! Jack and Andrew xx
